Ride a Dino Rarities List: Dinosaur Label Reference
Quick answer
- Named labels: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Divine appear in the collection references.
- Secret hunting: Keep the occasional Secret Dino goal separate from an assumed ordered rarity ladder.
Use the names as a reference
Ride a Dino uses rarity labels across its dinosaur collection. The official description names the Common-to-Divine range, while gameplay includes Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic encounters. Secret Dinos are described separately as occasional appearances.
Use this page to recognize those labels. A name is useful collection context, but it is not an income formula, a capture requirement or a complete riding comparison.
Named dinosaur labels
The table is a label reference, arranged alphabetically rather than as a strength chart. Keep it handy when a dinosaur's nameplate or a guide uses one of these terms.
For the wider collection decision, use the rarities guide. It explains why the species you want to own and the dinosaur you want for a particular task may be different choices.
| Label | Useful context |
|---|---|
| Common | The starting end of the advertised collection range. |
| Divine | The upper end named in the official collection description. |
| Epic | An encounter and tame target in riding gameplay. |
| Legendary | A named encounter and capture goal in gameplay. |
| Mythic | A named tame in gameplay. |
| Rare | A named encounter label. |
| Secret | An occasional appearance and collection goal. |
| Uncommon | A label used for a dinosaur placed at the ranch. |
Choose what the label means for your next run
If your goal is collecting, a label can help you describe the find you are pursuing. If your goal is practising riding, focus first on a target you can finish taming. Do not let a collection ambition erase the value of a useful ordinary capture.
For occasional appearances, continue with Secret Dinos. For the upper end named by the game description, see the Divine overview. Neither goal needs to replace every other part of your session.
